It began in 2018…
ICARIA was born from a simple desire to share. It all began with a woman who, having experienced the life-changing benefits of CBD, felt compelled to spread the word to the women in her life. What started as a personal journey soon evolved into a mission to empower and uplift others.
Have you ever felt so lost and hopeless after a life-shattering experience, that you started feeling constantly ill and tired? Like your life was losing meaning and your body was missing its livelihood.
This is exactly what Nadya was going through in her late twenties. Her life had suddenly changed and she felt as though everything was out of her control. She felt as though her emotions had taken the wheel and she wasn’t making any decisions anymore. She started having panic attacks, her stress had gone through the roof, her anxiety was at an all-time high, and her health was hitting rock bottom. Funny enough, she was a nutrition expert but she couldn’t find any diet that could help her.
That was when her girlfriends decided to intervene and recommend that she take CBD oil. They had all gone through the same at some point and they thought CBD could help Nadya as it had done for them.
But Nadya wasn’t convinced. She had heard tons of myths about CBD that made her apprehensive to trying it. “It could make me high.” “It’s just a placebo.”
As days went by, she felt her mind drifting farther away and her body giving up on her, so she decided she wanted to know more about CBD. She began doing her research, reading studies, consulting with experts in her field and, slowly but surely, she started convincing herself that she had to give it a try, And so she did.
Fast forward a couple of years, and inspired by the transformative potential of CBD, in 2018 our founder set out to create a brand that prioritizes the well-being of women. Today, ICARIA is more than just a collection of products – it’s a community united by a shared commitment to wellness. Every bottle, every drop, and every story is a testament to the positive impact we can have when we come together to support one another.
