This month we are celebrating our 3rd year anniversary and, as the best CBD brand, we are reflecting on our CBD journey.
First of all, we want to thank you so much for all your support, we obviously wouldn’t be here if not for you.
Three years ago our founder Nadya launched the first CBD oil product. Nadya strongly believes in a holistic lifestyle and in a balanced approach to health, and for that reason she named the brand after an island in Greece Icaria or Ikaria.
This island is considered to be one of the blue zones, which are areas in the world where people live the longest, healthiest lives. Scientists believe that the longevity of people in these zones are due to their holistic lifestyle – low stress levels, moderate activity, healthy diet, community, good sleep and a life purpose.
Nadya loves the idea behind blue zones and believes we all should thrive to live a bit more like people live in those areas. In her opinion, CBD oil helps us do just that. CBD oil can decrease stress, improve sleep and energy levels, balance our appetite, hormones and mood, thus contributing to a more holistic lifestyle.
However, the health benefits of CBD oil wasn’t the only reason Nadya became so passionate about CBD. The other main reason was due to her own stigma around CBD products.
It took years for Nadya to see that it was her lack of education and understanding of cannabis, and as a result hemp and CBD, that was causing her to avoid this plant. After her realization she committed to sharing her love, passion and knowledge about CBD and its health benefits.
Well, now that it’s been 3 years since ICARIA was launched, we can confidently say that we are proud of the positive impact that it has made! ICARIA have:
- Helped thousands of womxn with anxiety, stress, pain and insomnia.
- We have shared knowledge and passion with womxn from Canada, the U.S., Mexico, Brazil, the U.K, Russia, Hong Kong, Australia and even Japan.
- Helped hundreds of dogs and cats to feel better.
- Launched 12 products including a topical line;
- Hosted dozens of education events, webinars, as well as were guests on even more podcasts, blogs and community gatherings.
We can’t express how much we appreciate and value each one of you – your kind messages, your referrals, your participation in our community.
ICARIA started in Vancouver, but now we feel like we are connected to the rest of the world through our mission and passion.
Let’s continue sharing love for CBD oil and its benefits with our friends and family. That’s how most of us have tried it in the first place. 😉
